TriNet Services Inc

When password protection is simply not sufficient The Internet Access Key(IAK) is the first product that provides two-factor user authenticationfor Internet and Intranet access. Utilizing the Web the IAK allows youto restrict access to documents/applications on a Web Site by presentingthe person accessing them with a Java(TM) applet. This applet presents achallenge, in the form of a flashing bar code, which is read by the handheld AccessKey II (AK II) device. The device then generates theappropriate response which the user then enters into the applet forvalidation back on the server side. The multi-level security controlsprovided by the IAK include zero deviation tolerance, one-timeauthentication, restricted access to the AK II via a PIN, a uniqueinternal code for each AK II, and central management of the keys. The IAKworks with all network and firewall security products and does notrequire any reprogramming for use. There are several hundred thousandkeys in use worldwide for applications s uch as on-line banking/financialservices, EDI, network and system security access, military/governmentand off-site programming projects.
